Law Firm Fees

Generally, the attorney is paid on the basis of $150 per hour for his services. However, some cases are handled on a contingency fee basis. In either event, the client is also expected to pay the attorney's out-of-pocket expenses, such as filing fees, recording fees, and the like. Interested parties are urged to contact the firm for a specific quote. However, the following services are generally undertaken for the fees indicated:

• Incorporation with one Shareholder: $800.
• Residential Real Estate Closing: $450.
• Collection: $2,500 non-refundable retainer, to be credited against 1/3 contingency fee (1/2 if appeal taken from decision of trial court).
• Personal Injury: 1/3 contingency fee (1/2 if appeal taken from decision of trial court).
• Simple Will: $300.
• Short-Form Power of Attorney for Property or Health Care: $50 each.
